GOD, I'm in Draco Mode today... Sadly, I may not remember much, as lots of time has passed, but still. Have to write this.

All three:

Bait and Switch: OMG, they are kings at that! Especially in their debut movie and "How Not to Save the Princess"! Definitely able to switch things up a bit with their acting.

+ Debut: They appear in a most intimidating way possible, like the roaring chimera the Draco is supposed to be... but hug Dobrynya by the end of that "clash", subverting the expectations.

Not His Sled: Revealed to be Dobrynya's childhood friend in his debut movie...

Distressed Dude: Debut: Had to be rescued by Dobrynya from the Romanis after he was caught stealing vegetables back when he was a kid.

Informed Disability/Acrophobic Bird: His wings are very short, which made him almost impossible to fly. Claims it to be genetic. Subverted in the end of his debut movie, as he finally flies after falling off a cliff.

Nice Guy: All three to a separate degree are awesome dudes, who simply want to live a good life. Always ready to help, even if it backfires.

Gentle Giant: Not sure if he would ever hurt a fly.

Disney Death: AVERTED. He does fall off of a cliff at the end of his debut, but manages to fly back up and go a few circles by his wings.

Sensitive Guy, Manly Man: Draco is the Sensitive Guy to Dobrynya's Manly Man. Inside, it's Chief and Right's Sensitive Guys to Left's Manly Man.

Acrofatic: Becomes a kung-fu master in "How Not to Save the Princess", shows himself to be a nice dancer in "The Sea King" and especially, "The Queen of Egypt".

Mission Control: "How Not to Save a Princess".

Toon Physics: Averted as for "The Queen of Egypt". When you're this big, no entrance to the pyramids for ya.

Disguised in Drag: "Distant Shores". Nuff said. (it was a ploy to get into the Duke's palace with the heroes' wives).

The Klutz: What causes him to be exposed to the Bogatyrs' wives in "Distant Shores" (dropping pots around when there's massive mobbing going on isn't a good idea).

A Day in the Limelight: "THE SEA KING".

Right:

Plucky Comic Relief: He is the jolly head, who likes to crack jokes whenever possible.

Keet: This boy's the most active of the three.

Tenor Boy: Has the highest voice out of the three, despite them (obviously) sharing a voice-actor.

I Can't Look: Does this upon their emergency toss-off in "How Not To Save the Princess"

Yes-Man: His support for a wounded Chief is not as good as Left's in "The Sea King".

Foolish Sibling-Responsible Sibling / Took a Level in Dumbass?: That is his dynamic with Left in "The Sea King", as he's mostly fooling around and joking.

Chief:

Basso Profundo: Has the deepest voice out of the three. In fact it's so deep it sounds artificial. Inverted for a moment in "The Sea King", where Chief lets out a blood-curdling and HIGH-PITCHED scream at the heroes.

Prone to Tears: Yes, that is him in most emergency situations. Just a sensitive dude. Turned Up to Eleven in "The Sea King", where he's almost drowning in his own sobbing, due to the immense pain of having his tooth forcefully torn out.

Tears of Fear: Partially in the debut, when discussing his and Zabava's plight while trapped in Baba Yaga's hut.

Beautiful Tears / Tender Tears: He is just that adorable when he cries... usually. Averted for "The Sea King".

Tears of Joy: Sheds these briefly in "How Not to rescue a Princess", as the heroes are reuniting with their wives, right before the climactic battle with the Shamakhan Queen's forces.

The Smart Guy / Adorkable: Does come up with smart solutions and ideas when necessary:

- "How Not to Save the Princess": the first one to suggest tossing down Julius and Moses (a horse and a donkey respectively) due to their Emergency Cargo Dump (Alyosha had unexpectedly landed on their tail).

- This comes back to bite him in "The Sea King", because it was his idea to get the tooth from his Doppelganger Chinese relative, while using a confusing photo... man, that's just awful. I might take my jerky words back later.

The Empath: I guess it was his initiative to help the wives get their Heroic husbands back in "Distant Shores".

The Woobie: In "The Sea King" is the one telling the heroes about his Chinese cousin and his power-granting tooth, the main gist being having to tear it out once he comes to the Great Wall at midnight. He is ALSO the one getting traumatized like that in the process.

Broken Tears / Berserker Tears / Inelegant Blubbering / Break the Cutie: What his crying in "The Sea King" can come across as. Sad and scary.

- Justified in case of Inelegant Blubbering, because NOBODY looks great when they are under a lot of pain. Mildly exaggerated as Chief also Deteriorates into Gibberish half-way for obvious reasons. [I was sobbing like that pre-op day].

- Also implied to be this trope in "Distant Shores".

- Justified in case of Broken Tears, because he is literally Not Himself and is having a mental breakdown partway...

What the Hell, Heroes?!: "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING WITH?! Y'all are only thinking about yourselves!" Subverted in that that's the only thing he manages to scream during his meltdown before the pain overtakes him.

Nightmare Face: You do NOT want to see him pre-bandage after the heroes tear out his tooth (not golden).

Hell is That Noise?!: His voice is beyond recognition during his traumatic meltdown in "The Sea King". Eventually comes back to normal...

Speech Impediment: Gains a very bad lateral lisp as a result of having his tooth torn out.

The Speechless: After the meltdown in "The Sea King", he's unable to say anything due to the bandage on his jaw. Well, except for a Dry "What" (wot) at the end.

OOC is Serious Business: When a normally sweet crier start bawling his eyes out uncontrollably, while screaming accusations at you, you're in trouble for sure. ("The Sea King")

Dull Eyes of Unhappiness: Sports these as the heroes are flying back to Kiev on Draco-kun, as being the traumatized one ("The Sea King").

Left:

Badass Baritone: Has one. Becomes an actual badass in "The Sea King". The Ditz: Most of his appearances until "The Sea King".

The Wildcard: The odd one out of the three.

Genre Savvy / Crossdressing Voices: Does a decent impression of a Muslim woman to let the dudes inside the Duke's palace, while being Disguised in Drag. Sassy baka.

Yeet: Threatens to do that to Alyosha if he doesn't apologize for tearing out Chief's tooth and dancing in celebration of it.

Foolish Sibling-Responsible Sibling: The Responsible to Right's Foolish in "The Sea King".

Disapproving Look: His reaction to the stupidest refusal (to not help the heroes in battle with the Sea King) Right gives. It works.

Took a Level in Badass / Character Development / Characterization Marches On: "The Sea King" sees him as a totally different character.

OOC is Serious Business: Drops all of his comedic hints while defending Chief from the heroes in the sixth film. This lasts until the end.

Hoo, hope that was it for now... if anyone has other suggestions, get them in.

(continuation to my last journal)

I did say I'd continue from the sides and I will.

The next two questions are: is Right a comedian of the crew and is Left as bland as the previous movies made him out to be?

Yes, Right Draco is a comedian. Earlier, he was pictured as the jolly one of the three heads to contrast Chief. However, when his "headbling" is hurt, he stands up to him, just like Left, though he does it more as a Yes-Man, than an actual support member.

And no, Left is not bland anymore. In fact, aside from the flanderization of the Duke and his horse-friend Julius, this head gets the most character development. Earlier, he was seen as a kind of ditzy guy, who simply did things because... because. Yes, his creative side was shown in "Three Heroes and Distant shores", when he does pull off a girl impression (more like a fat woman impression, but what can a crossdresser do?), but that was it. Here, though, Left is shown as a different person entirely.

I bet, they used the "What would your character do in an emergency?" prompt on him, because it's a drastic change from before. Left downright berates the heroes for the betrayal, to the point of threatening to yeet Alyosha (his voice-actor-buddy) from their tail and takes over the leader role while Chief is incapacitated. He and Right have that Foolish Sibling-Responsible Sibling dynamic, where the latter is just ditzing around, while the former makes important decisions. He is very responsible about his "headblings"' well-being and wants to help as much as he can. And He is the one, who makes the final decision, when the heroes start battling the Sea tsar: when, instead of jumping down into the sea, Right asks if they can count to ten first, he just stares him down. Disapprovingly. Angrily, even. Hell, it's the first movie, where we see Left genuinely mad at something (not this moment, but earlier).

I'm not sure if I can remember anything else, but because of these two aspects I drew out in the journals, I can't stop thinking about the scene... It makes me feel both sorrow and respect for Draco. Love you, Kulikovich-buddy.

(If you have different arguments that help me, write them in the comments 😊).

I am playing in our uni theatre production and one of my roles tested is a granny...

The scene goes like this: we have a conflict between an old man and an old woman. The man loves walking on the floorboard from one corner of the room to another. The granny-lady berates him for this, partially because right now he's preventing her from measuring out space for a desired carpet she had found at the market. The conflict gets heated as they start calling each other crazy and the grandpa ends up falling over the floorboard. Tragedy ensues as he screams for help and calls his life ruined. That's the heel-face turn moment for the granny as she helps him come back to his routine and calm him down. In my opinion, this is the most empathetic moment in the play ever.

However, as I was reading my part, I remembered a similar scene from a movie I watched when I was younger and it made me think of many different aspects of it. The scene I was thinking about is one of the most important ones there.

The movie I'm writing about is "Three Heroes and the Sea Tsar". There are two plotlines: one about said tsar flooding Kiev in order to find a bride and the heroes stopping the disaster and another about them realizing that if they work together they can compensate for the powers they might be losing due to age and all. The second one comes to them at a cost.

The three Russian heroes, Alyosha Popovich, Dobrynya Nikitich, and Ilya Muromets are praised by the Kiev-dwellers for their strength and stamina, although soon after they, along with the main guys, start realising something's amiss. They are becoming weaker and more fragile. To help with their issue, they talk to one of their friends, Zmey Gorynytch (whom I'll refer to as simply Draco from there for convenience). The three-headed buddy advises them to tear out a tooth of his Chinese cousin, who looks suspiciously like him, to regain their power. The heroes do EXACTLY as told... only to reveal (VERY sadly) that it was Draco whose tooth they got. He was just flying back to them to tell about the flood that just occured and got this... treatment.

The scene I'm talking about is key, because it connects to the end of the scene I'm in. I'm gonna go from the center to the sides to explain.

The first question it raises is: just HOW BADLY can you hurt Chief Draco (the central head)?! Usually he is seen crying whenever something bad happens or he's just being sensitive (like when all three saw the heroes reunite with their wives after a long trip... different movie). Here, though, it is a full-on MELTDOWN. The guy just got his tooth torn out... after having explained the plan to the heroes himself. First off, it is really bad physical trauma' as for a dragon like him it's apparently half-a-jaw. His scream at the beginning (WHAT WERE YOU THINKING WITH?!), lispy and VERY high-pitched, shows that things are dead wrong. Second off, he is mentally hurt, because it was essentially betrayal that the trio (Draco) faced heads-on.

There are various kinds of meltdowns that happen in people. One of them is called "great injustice". Have you not been heard? Has something terrible, according to you, happened? For Draco, it's the heroes not having listened to him before attacking him. For the grandpa (my partner in the scene), it's falling off a floorboard on the anniversary of having a perfect walkthrough. They feel deeply hurt, yet can't do anything about it...and I feel hurt for them and my grandpa partner, too...

(This is a continuation to my last journal)

Back to that idea of mine: I have a full-on plot for Splitathon here (for the overhaul, the original plot still exists and has always been valid). Everything is happening like in the original mod, but Dave soon suggests to have a run-off to see who's best at keeping beats at a distance: him or me. "How much?" I ask. Dave-kun doesn't get it at first and says it's free, but after I explain that I shouldn't run for more than two km (Captain and Bambi are understandably annoyed, mostly the latter dude), he sets the distance of 1,5 km and we get on our marks: Dave-Captain-Me (initial line-up).

Dave's first part: We are running smoothly (depends on the beats: when it's faster, we run; when it's slower, we walk or skip). Dave's cheering me, sometimes helping me with the distance (whenever I walk, I fall behind). (1:31, 2:40) At around 3:40 I go flyin' (lol levitaion magics). All's going well...

5:07 - Dave is visibly worried: I ask why he stopped. Just then he screams: "Look out!" Bambi flies in, knocking Captain out of the way in the process (oof) I fall behind yet again.

Line-up: Dave-Me-Bambi

Bambi's first part: this little prick is def tryin' to take over the game. Dave is much slower (half Bambi's beats, not much help), noticeably upset. I am playin' by the phonebreaker's rules for now... and there's a black dot in the distance tryin' to return to us (Captain-sama!) runnin' ensues!

Midway through, Dave is kinda mad at Bambi for cheating, they have a slight argument while I sing.

6:16 - Smollett-kun finally reaches us, yay! In a few leaps, no less!

Line-up: Dave-Bambi-Me-Captain

Dave's second part: we're back in action, fair game is restored (to Bambi's annoyance)

6:39 - I'm flyin' again! Yayzers! And Captain and Dave unite to avoid knockouts from Bambi.

Line-up: Me-Bambi-Captain&Dave

Bambi's second part: 6:55 - lol he's back. Running, skipping and spurting (7:04), oh my! Dave and Captain take turns driving the chair (the latter during Bambi's parts to hear the beat, the former - during mine to help) They are cheering for me all the way, knowing my health group (V-poses and smiles in my direction... or is Dave cheerin' for Bambi, too?)

8:36 - why is everyone so quiet?

8:52 - HOLY-WHA??? Captain stares Bambi down for such a trick, Dave facepalms ("he always does that")...

8:56 - ... and I just send Bambi off by clapping the beat, while running (screw you, Junior Speedster!).

Line-up: Me-Bambi-Captain-Dave

Dave's finale: 9:10 - we're at our final circle, time to decide who wins!

Game-over screens:

Dave's first part: I stop midway, gasping for breath: "I'm just a little tired... can we resume later?" Dave: "Aww... ok. We'll wait."

Bambi's first part: I get knocked out by Bambi. Captain rushes to help me, and asks if we retry our part. Yes: the song restarts pretty soon. No: "Sorry, guys. Try to mind yer speed next time, vale?" The song restarts as soon as the health meter shows I'm safe.

Dave's second part: I get caught in Dave's chair ("My leg!" style). Really spooked. We do breathing excersizes together. Dave is really guilty, but Bambi reassures him: "It's the girl, who's weak, not you." Smollett glares at him.

Bambi's second part pre-speed: Glares from the single-unit team.

That part, where everybody stutters: Captain leaps off of Dave's wheel-chair: "Alright, dat's it!" The background transforms into a sort of "Cheating"-esque. Dave is helping me get back in shape in the back. The other two dudes rap the part of Rap God, which includes the fastest verse ever. After that, Bambi is pretty iffed about that. "That's whatcha get fer almost killin' my friend!" (Captain took things a little too seriously) - "Ya ok in there?" The answer is... no. Alright, so then it goes on as with Bambi's first part game-over.

Finale: who wins?

Me: complete that part without dying on 50% and more.

Captain: complete that part on 49-10% health.

Dave: complete that part with 10% and less health (he gives me a lift to the finish).

Bambi: die on that part (LOLOLOLOLOL). The dude just megarushes to the finish. If there has been a RapGodCheater battle, Captain runs off to scream at some corn in despair. I'm ok, just megatired (Dave still gives me a lift).

So... that's it for the overhaul. I think it was ok. Do suggest if there are any changes needed.

So, for those, who know me pretty well, they may guess I may be into My Little Pony, Friday Night Funkin and, to a very much lesser extent, Treasure Island (the 1988 one, lel). I have a light crossover idea between the last two. Not like a whole overhaul, but, y'know when ya put yer sona in BF's place. As I know, Captain Smollett is a great conductor in times of danger (that 2/4 net + whatever hell he tried to put the rival rookies through during the fort assault), so, like, he'd be a cool replacement for Girlfriend (aaaaaaaaaah I'm so embarrassed). I mean, for real, nets are way cooler than simply bobbing yer head to the beat.

For example, everything would be alright in most cases, but:

- For faster songs, Captain would be sometimes accenting the right tone (unless it's RUN or Pineappled, when we are completely lost and just following our intuition)

- For very slow songs (SMILE, Suicide Mouse) the net would still be there, but we would both be really bored (don't mind the visuals, there are zero beats)

- For long songs (Little Man 2) or songs with really intense sections (Termination) we would replace each other to take breaks between parts.

- For songs with mixed meters (HELLCLOWN, No Games, Flatline) Captain would stare at the opponent for the first few turns (like WTH are ya doin', buddy/pal/babe?), then go on, getting used to the beat. The exception would be HELLCLOWN, which would drive my friend out of the picture by him constantly staring at Tricky (ya flippin' the bird at my friend, amigo? TAKE DA-HOLY GUACAMOLE, YA CHANGED AGAIN!)

- Hypno Lullaby would be all duet songs (ala Stress), because METRONOME.

- If we have songs with loud sounds or the like, there might be a warning cutscene, or me missing a couple turns.

- Flashing lights: this is where we'd have Book!Billy Bones (wearing cool shades, because lights are kinda sus) as an epilepsy reminder. Captain is still there, helping with the beats (unless it's Revolution, because he'd be tending to our second Dostoevsky for the first turns, until Tree starts outright rapping)

aaaaaaaand... that's it, so far... hope it's alright for an idea list (pun not intended)
