Everything I remember about Draco (for TVTropes)
GOD, I'm in Draco Mode today... Sadly, I may not remember much, as lots of time has passed, but still. Have to write this. All three: Bait and Switch: OMG, they are kings at that! Especially in their debut movie and "How Not to Save the Princess"! Definitely able to switch things up a bit with their acting. + Debut: They appear in a most intimidating way possible, like the roaring chimera the Draco is supposed to be... but hug Dobrynya by the end of that "clash", subverting the expectations. Not His Sled: Revealed to be Dobrynya's childhood friend in his debut movie... Distressed Dude: Debut: Had to be rescued by Dobrynya from the Romanis after he was caught stealing vegetables back when he was a kid. Informed Disability/Acrophobic Bird: His wings are very short, which made him almost impossible to fly. Claims it to be genetic. Subverted in the end of his debut movie, as he finally flies after falling off a cliff. Nice Guy: All three to a separate degree are awesome dudes, who
The most character development
(continuation to my last journal) I did say I'd continue from the sides and I will. The next two questions are: is Right a comedian of the crew and is Left as bland as the previous movies made him out to be? Yes, Right Draco is a comedian. Earlier, he was pictured as the jolly one of the three heads to contrast Chief. However, when his "headbling" is hurt, he stands up to him, just like Left, though he does it more as a Yes-Man, than an actual support member. And no, Left is not bland anymore. In fact, aside from the flanderization of the Duke and his horse-friend Julius, this head gets the most character development. Earlier, he was seen as a kind of ditzy guy, who simply did things because... because. Yes, his creative side was shown in "Three Heroes and Distant shores", when he does pull off a girl impression (more like a fat woman impression, but what can a crossdresser do?), but that was it. Here, though, Left is shown as a different person entirely. I bet, they used the "What
A movie that I thought of while revising my role
I am playing in our uni theatre production and one of my roles tested is a granny... The scene goes like this: we have a conflict between an old man and an old woman. The man loves walking on the floorboard from one corner of the room to another. The granny-lady berates him for this, partially because right now he's preventing her from measuring out space for a desired carpet she had found at the market. The conflict gets heated as they start calling each other crazy and the grandpa ends up falling over the floorboard. Tragedy ensues as he screams for help and calls his life ruined. That's the heel-face turn moment for the granny as she helps him come back to his routine and calm him down. In my opinion, this is the most empathetic moment in the play ever. However, as I was reading my part, I remembered a similar scene from a movie I watched when I was younger and it made me think of many different aspects of it. The scene I was thinking about is one of the most important ones
Headcanon time: Splitathon overhaul
(This is a continuation to my last journal) Back to that idea of mine: I have a full-on plot for Splitathon here (for the overhaul, the original plot still exists and has always been valid). Everything is happening like in the original mod, but Dave soon suggests to have a run-off to see who's best at keeping beats at a distance: him or me. "How much?" I ask. Dave-kun doesn't get it at first and says it's free, but after I explain that I shouldn't run for more than two km (Captain and Bambi are understandably annoyed, mostly the latter dude), he sets the distance of 1,5 km and we get on our marks: Dave-Captain-Me (initial line-up). Dave's first part: We are running smoothly (depends on the beats: when it's faster, we run; when it's slower, we walk or skip). Dave's cheering me, sometimes helping me with the distance (whenever I walk, I fall behind). (1:31, 2:40) At around 3:40 I go flyin' (lol levitaion magics). All's going well... 5:07 - Dave is visibly worried: I ask why he stopped.
